We're sure you'll spend PLENTY of time with each of them.
These can be lethal weapons, such as the Backhand Blade that can boost your attacking abilities, or useful incantations like Heal from Afar. These are items that must be picked as soon as possible as they can help you have an easier time in the DLC instead of having to grind for hours, level up your Scadutree blessings, and still end up dead.
10 Deflecting Hardtear
Enhance Your Spontaneous Guard
Obtained by slaying the huge Titan-like bosses known as the Furnace Golems, which can be found while traversing the Land of Shadow, the crystal tears are a unique set of items in Elden Ring that have their own variation of obtaining them in the DLC.
The Crystal Tears brew you a magical potion called the Wondrous Physick, with many different possible combinations. The Deflecting Hardtear is a Crystal Tear you need quickly and can be obtained by defeating the massive Golem near the Scorched Ruins. This item is a must for shield users as it can enhance the power of your guard and stabilize your posture while blocking enemy attacks.
9 Milady
A New Weapon Type: Light Greatsword
With so many new weapon types introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, one of the earliest and most versatile weapons you can get during your first few hours of playing the DLC is Milady, a weapon of the Light Greatsword variant.
By itself, it's already great, but combined with the Wingstance Ash of War, it gets even better, and you can deal a lot of damage with just one hit. Milady is easy to use and great for PVE bosses, specifically the early bosses of the DLC. You can find it up a ladder near the entrance to the Castle Ensis area.
8 Savage Lion’s Claw
Grants Your Weapon A Special Flip Attack
An Ash of War is an item that can enhance your gameplay significantly by scaling your weapons and adding a special attack that can tremendously help you during your boss fights. With your favorite weapon in your hand, the Savage Lion’s Claw is an Ash of War that you should get quickly.
Once equipped, the Savage Lion’s Claw grants your weapons the ability to perform a forward flip attack, which causes a lot of damage to your opponents. This Ash of War can be found on a campsite while moving from the Three-Path Cross Site towards the northwest side of the Scorched Ruins.
This Ash of War can only be applied to Swords, Axes, and Hammers.
7 Heal from Afar
Heals You And Your Allies Within It’s AoE

Have some faith, even in the Land of Shadow.
You can find it while exploring the Scadu Altus region, where you need to find a trail near the Rauh Ruins that leads you to a small cave. 6 The Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh
Summons A Powerful Spirit Companion
In Elden Ring, Spirit Ashes are companions that can be summoned using the Spirit Calling Bell. They’re spirits of characters or bosses you encounter during your game and can aid you in whatever fight you pick in the Land of Shadow.
The Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh is a Spirit Ash that possesses the power to significantly assist in battle because of its magic blade attacks and finesse, and it can be especially useful when enhanced with Revered Spirit Ashes in the Land of Shadow. 5 Death Knight’s Twin Axes
Another Dual-Wielded Set Of Weapons That Performs Excellently
The Death Knight’s Twin Axes are undoubtedly one of the DLC’s best dual-wield weapons that can be equipped while exploring the Fog Rift Catacombs, where you defeat the Death Knight boss to acquire it.
The Twin Axes possess a unique skill called the Blinkbolt: Twinaxe, which allows you to generate bolts of lightning, followed by a spin attack, which can be charged towards your enemies at the speed of light to destroy them. Upgrade these axes to their full potential by equipping the Scorpion Charm Talisman with it, which enhances their lightning damage.
4 The Solitude Set
Not Just A Great Armor Set But Flashy Looking, Too
Early in the game, if you move towards the northwest side of the Gravesite Plain, you’ll find the Nameless Mausoleum. Once inside, you’ll encounter an absolute menace of a boss, the Black Gaol Knight, and defeating him will give you the powerful Solitude Armor.
The Armor of Solitude is among the heaviest armors in the entire game, so much so that you need a very high endurance build to even carry it. This Armor turns you into an impenetrable knight with a whopping poise of 96. Apart from the Solitude Armor, you also receive the Great Sword of Solitude after killing the Knight, which is another brilliant weapon to equip.
3 The Backhand Blade
A Strong Backhand Attack Weapon
The Backhand Blade is a powerful weapon that can be dual-wielded once you enable the dual-wield power stance. This blade allows you to dodge attacks and deal decent damage as it backstabs your enemies with its back edge.

Increases Your Attack Power By 15 Percent, Giving A Much-Needed Buff
There are a ton of exclusive Talismans in Shadow of the Erdtree, like the Crusade Insignia, that boost your crowd control damage like no other. The Crusade Insignia talisman, when equipped, increases your attack power by 15 percent for twenty seconds after killing an enemy.
This can favor you significantly while exploring enemy-heavy areas on the map where you find hordes of enemies at every corner.
