12 Step 30-Day Program offered by The Discovery Program In Los Angeles

The 12 Step 30-Day Program offered by The Discovery Program in In Los Angeles offers men and women an introduction to sobriety.

After admission, clients are introduced to each other and receive an orientation about the operation of the facility unless on detox status. Each client is given their own 12 step outline and guideline to working the 12-steps. Deadlines are provided and strictly adhered to as part of the overall program. Sponsorship is mandatory for each resident and they are encouraged to get a 12-step sponsor immediately.

Clients begin the process of recovery, guided by a staff of sober professionals who have experience in and who actively work the 12 step program they teach!

During their 30-day stay at The Discovery Program, clients are taken through Steps 1-5 and attend 7-9 12 step meetings per week while in our care. Clients learn how to work and apply a 12- step program to their daily lives. Graduation is scheduled the last week of residency with the client’s family and loved ones.

A sober living program after detox or rehab is critical to the ongoing success of addiction recovery.  The Discovery Program 12 step 30-day program is most effective and least expensive of the residential treatment centers in Los Angeles.   Our residents start working a program of action immediately upon enrollment in the treatment program.  By providing a safe, supportive environment rooted in 12 step principles, The Discovery Program is unparalleled in effective treatment of men and women suffering from alcohol and drug addiction.  The educational program is fun as well as intensive.

Recovery and sobriety from drug addiction and alcohol comes too late for too many people. Larry Luttrell, the founder of The Discovery Program knows far too much about this. He has lost many friends to alcoholism and drug addiction as well as his father, who passed away in December 2004 of cirrhosis of the liver. He was a chronic alcoholic.
